Picnic Lunch for Two

Take a picnic basket down to Pemaquid Lighthouse park, sit on the shoreline and enjoy a delicious lunch of gourmet sandwiches with a choice of meat, cheese and or vegetable, chips, cookies, fruit and wine.
Wine and Cheese / Charcuterie Plate

Enjoy a bottle of wine either red or white, your choice, accompanied by a platter of assorted local cheeses, charcuterie, crackers or bread plus accoutrements. A great way to begin your stay!

Sea Breeze Spa
In keeping with our goal to make The Bradley Inn a destination unto itself, the Sea Breeze Sauna and Spa will further complement your stay at our New England bed and breakfast. Whether you need a deep tissue or relaxing massage and/or a sauna during your time in Maine, the Sea Breeze Spa is available to you as a Bradley Inn guest.

The Area
The Bradley Inn is located in a very special area, ideally situated for reaching many of Maine’s iconic spots. You can explore New Harbor and Pemaquid Point or move up or down the coast a bit to Rockland/Camden or to Boothbay. With its granite shores, crashing waves, lobster buoys, and wildlife, you can literally just walk from the inn to explore the area around the Point and the iconic Pemaquid Lighthouse. The Bradley Inn is the perfect landing spot for your Maine vacation.

Walk from The Bradley Inn to Marble Cove or the Pemaquid Lighthouse. Take a short drive to the beautiful, soft, sandy Pemaquid Beach or New Harbor’s own Hardy Boat for a variety of ocean cruises. Just a little further away to the Bristol Mills Swimming Hole, Rachel Carson Saltwater Pond, Damariscotta River Cruises or Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
Activities
If you are interested in being active, Pemaquid Peninsula and its surrounds are the right place for you.
You will find numerous hiking trails on the many preserves that lead you through areas with streams, lakes and ocean views. Sea and lake kayaking opportunities abound, you can bring your own kayak or rent and join guided trips as well as explore on your own. Maine Kayak is just a five minute drive from the Inn. Bike the many back roads or spend a day at the beach or swimming hole.
Museums and History
Pemaquid Peninsula was visited and settled in the 1500s, making it rich with history.
Historical sites such as Fort William Henry, which is part of the Colonial Pemaquid State Historical Site and the historic Mill at Pemaquid Falls on the Old Bristol Historical Society property. Visit the many museums in the area; Pemaquid Lighthouse Fisherman’s Museum, Maine Maritime Museum in Bath or the Transportation Museum in Owls Head. If you are interested in art, the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland houses various collections including some of Maine’s famous Wyeth Family.
Wildlife
Pemaquid Peninsula is one of Maine’s best locations for bird watching, especially during migration seasons, seal sightings, and whale watching.
Enjoy seeking out many different types of birds in the numerous area habitats, from the lawns at The Bradley Inn to the surrounding area on the peninsula, on the ocean, in the woods, meadows, marshes and Great Salt Bay. Take a Hardy Boat Puffin Cruise to see and learn about the whimsical little birds as they inhabit Eastern Egg Island just off the coast to mate.
